They recently purchased Lufran, Inc.,
who we were also a distributor for. All of the former Lufran part #'s can

Their products are designed specifically for heating and cooling of chemistry in wet process manufacturing environments. Industries serves include electroplating, anodizing, printed circuit board, cleaning technologies, pharmaceutical, food, and biomedical. In addition to their standard products many custom products engineered specifically for your application are available.
INTRODUCING: THE SAFEONE FROM PROCESS TECHNOLOGY:

Uses a positive temperature coefficient
(PTC) semiconductor ceramic-heating element, which is extremely resistive to
electrical current flow above a specific designated temperature. The PTC
material acts as its own high-limit thermostat – allowing current to flow when
cold and limiting the current flow when hot. In other words, the semiconductor
element self-regulates its maximum temperature. Due to the
self-regulating design of the Safe One heater, it's impossible to bypass the
thermal fuse – because there is none! Safety is built-in, not added on.
Can be safely wired to ANY voltage from 120 volts to 480 volts, with
single- or three-phase power – with no change in heat output. Thus, fewer units
need to be stocked. Any risk of over voltage damaging the heating element is
eliminated.

Process Technology electric immersion heaters are designed for the demands of corrosive chemical heating. Open tank, screw plug and flange configurations are available. A wide variety of sheath materials ensure long life regardless of the chemistry. Materials include: fluoropolymer, quartz, titanium, 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel and plain steel. Sizes as small as 100 watts for laboratory environments and as large as 54,000 watts (flange heater up to 270,000 watts) for industrial applications are available. Many standard configurations are available from stock. Quick lead times are available for custom configured heaters. (Manufacturing lead times can be as short as two or three days.) Heaters are UL, CSA and CE. |
